Oh damn! Wasn't music soulful back in the day?
I used to love this song.. what's his other hit? I can't remember anymore. I miss the old music, this new crap isn't all that it should be. A hook every 20 seconds does not make a song.
@ speedy - I'll answer that. Chuckii Booker had another hit with a song called "Turned Away". I was a pretty cool song with a smooth beat. Very early 90ish.
He also recorded another tune that was more of a regional hit. Not all radio stations around the country backed it and it wasn't as big as it could have been. The name of that song was, "I Love You".
Chuckii was good. He should have been bigger than he was.
@ Speedy: Wasn't that the cut. My mom doesn't like the end of the song because she says it sounds like he is being pinched. :P
@ Terry: We had that cut out here as well. Wasn't it called "Don't You Know I Love you?" Or something like that. I guess the same thing. But it was HAWT. And so was he, cuz you can best believe like I said, I was rockin Games on my little pre-IPOD/MP3, IPhone or any combination thereof era.

I love me some Chucki Booker! My ex-boyfriend could have been his brother. He was a musical genius, I wonder why he hasn't put out another record. Plus, he was doing musical directing for Janet!! Love your blog by the way!
