Living in the Matrix

I am a broke philanthropist.

I am a firm believer of giving. Always have been. Of recent, I have been inspired by Shaq and his desire to bail homeowners out of their mortgage crisis. Though I have my own theories about the adjustable rates and interest only loans, I do believe that his heart is in the right place. He is always thinking of others. Even in his adopted town of Los Angeles, he does his Shaq-A-Claus events, where he gives away hundreds of thousands of clothes and food for those that need it.

Most people, rich or poor, do not feel or believe in that.

When I was a child, before my parents separated, my father was good on that. He is an extremely observant and intuitive man who has a knack for identifying a need. There was MANY a day where my brother's friends would come over, and he would all of a sudden take off for hours with the boys, and then everyone would come back with a new pair of kicks (friends included). I believe, this is where I get my generosity from.

Generosity doesn't mean being a sucka. This is not about this conversation. But it does mean, that most people are in a position to alter the course of some one's life, by a simple gift in kind. Money is relative. Fifty dollars is a fortune to someone struggling.

But, alas again, most people are concerned about 'me and mine'. But that's not how life is. And for people that may say that my unmarried, childless self will feel different when my circumstances change, I say.

That's a dayum lie. Do you know how many miserable, unhappy married folks I know (as well as single). So that isn't a predictor for joy, so save that for the folks that take the blue pill.

Granted, you shouldn't be concerned about others if you're barely getting by yourself, but generally speaking most people at some point, have a surplus in their lives where they can help. And, it's not always about MONEY. If you don't have the tools financially to support someone, use other skills: Be a companion, a confidant. Use your skills (creative or otherwise), to give someone that shot in the arm that they desperately need. Use your love, or time, or support, or communicating. You may have a resource for someone, if in fact, you are not in a position to help in any way. That's call connecting. That's creating a support system.

There is a difference between a handout and a helping hand. And everyone needs that. In our Western Civilization and culture, we are not trained to develop our minds like such; being in the mode of giving, and creating your own communities to become interdependent upon each other. In doing so, we create a strong hand where all of us can utilize each others resources. The Mormons do it all the time. As Don Cornelius says, you can bet your bottom dollar that you will NEVER see a broke Mormon.

What about us? We have the ability and opportunity to do it ourselves. This is what creates your true family and community. What good is our lives and what we have lived to obtain (i.e., the AmeriKKKan dream), if we don't pay it forward, and use our resources to build others lives, as well as OURS.

Otherwise, we take the blue pill and are living in the Matrix. Going back and forth in our routines, making sure that we are set, that WE are okay, and that WE have what we need. And everybody else, well, just get in where you fit in.

Take the red pill.

Question for the day: If you had an abundance of resources (Time, Money, etc.), where/who would you give to?

I'd give to the poor, straight up. Not necessarily the bum on the street that is begging everyone who passes, but the struggling family, or, widow, who is barely making it. Yep, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
And, P, thanx for stopping by.

Well, now days, overabundance ain't the word. I'm on a tight budget myself. And although I'm not as good at helping others out as I should be, I have my charities.

Used to be an orphanage in Mexico until the pedophiles took it over. Now my small efforts come in the way of checks to help feed victims of the genocide in Darfur.

But because I send less in the way of money, I've found out that I can sort of make up for it by volunteering with youth programs. Volunteers are hard to come by anymore so what I can't do with cash I try and make up for with time.

But even then, I suppose you're right and we could all do a little more.

@ The love collective:

No, thank YOU for stopping by.

@ Terry:

T: It's not really about finances. You can help people with your TIME, with your LOVE, with your communication, or with any particular skill set that you have.

NOW. . .

That's making a difference.

A couple of different spots. I think I would start in schools. Breakfast programs (so many kids start the day off hungry) and after school programs and then extend that to scholarships, but not just academic scholarships. I would have scholarships for those wanting to go into trades (i.e. plumber, electrician), or become nurses etc. I find there are not enough scholarships promoting those types of fields rather than the traditional four year college.

That's really a good idea. There are so many people that are skilled when it comes to certain things but are not cut out (for whatever reason) for the university setting.

My father is a skilled upholsterer and wouldn't that be fab to have those types of scholarships available for folks. And if they are doing a trade like so, they will, no doubt, probably need it most from a financial standpoint.

Powerful insight Luv... God gives provisions for the vision and not for the Man! We must share..The Blessings are a byproduct of the vision.

Thanx for the Luv also!

I'd give to the National MS Society. My mother suffered from this disease for sixteen years before she passed.

My dream is to give people jobs. That's how you help people. People don't want charity -- having to take handouts kills your self-esteem (having been there). I want to (someday) run a business that creates jobs.

Ours is an envionment where evil is perceived to be rewarded while good is punished. As with everything the Gods have a reason for creating this perception::::
People who fall on the good side of the good/evil scale have more favor, and when they do something wrong the Gods punish them BECAUSE THEY WANT THEM TO LEARN. The Gods want them to receive this feedback in hope they make corrections and begin to behave appropriately. The Gods DON'T like evil and refuse to grant this feedback.
EVERYBODY pays for what they do wrong, only evil people must wait until their next life before they will experience the wrath of the Gods, manifested in their reincarnation as a lower form of life into environments with increased/enhanced temptations.
Sadly, this allows the Gods to position this perception of evil rewarded as temptation, one which they use as an EXTREMELY effective corruptor.

Both Africa and the Medittereanean are regions which have sexual issues. This is a sign of morbid disfavor once you understand that females are the God's favored gender. Muhammad's (Mohammed's) polygamy halfway through his life as a prophet was preditory. Now a huge percentage of Muslims believes in male superiority and that the abuse of women is God's will. Female genital mutilation is still practiced in Africa. Black misogyny is the most eggregious example in the recent past.
Black member size is temptation to a predisposed population.
The patriarchal cancer spread throughout Europe because of Christianity, of which the majority of policy makers were Italian men. Expect the largest landowner in Europe and the continent's original superpower also played a major role in African slavery.

Militancy in Africa is consistant with the Iraqi example, as was slavery and the KKK here in America:::Fear enforces proper behavior. Without it we see what happens as a result of gross/morbid disfavor:::::AIDS, crack babies, dead young men in gangland retaliation killings. This is the purpose behind many black's historical tendancy towards resistance.
The same principle was true in Europe and throughout the world for centuries:::People whom lived under iron fists were conditioned to think the right way. As a result they experienced higher numbers of children accend into heaven because they were taught to think and behave appropriately, which they passed on to their children. Our preditory envionment of "freedom" was the primary purpose the Gods had when implimenting this strategy that is the United States, one which they used to spred the cancer of democracy and westernization throughout the world. And the Gods use this tool that is America to prey on the disfavored both at home and abroad:::Much like the ghetto, America in general experiences a heightened level of temptation due to the people's disfavor.

Even the Old Testiment is not to be taken literally, but the Gods do offer clues throughout to help the disfavored:::The apple is a tool of temptation used to corrupt Adam and Eve and cast them out of the Garden of Eden.
There is another lesson to be learned from this passage, and it is quite similar to the vailing issue and the discourse over women's attire which ultimately died in the 70s:::Women are responsible for and control the fate of mankind.

Think about what I say. Consider what I teach. Society is going to become disturbingly ugly as we approach the Apocalypse due to spiralling, runaway disfavor.
I do not know when this will occurr, but it is the God's way to grant some time before they end on Planet Earth.
Make the decision to always be good and never look back. Until you do this technology will employ tactics to test your resolve:::Ridicule, beligerance, doubt and refusal to abandon what people perceive to be their "investment".
Pray daily. Think appropriately. Too many are confident, unaware of the God's awesome powers or their status as antients. Others may fall prey to their positioning.
Be humbled, God-fearing and beware of the God's temptations, for everyone is tested to evaluate their worthiness.
Search rest

The only way Planet Earth will achieve sustainability is if we "take out the trash" and the gods allow the most disfavored among us to be terminated by eliminating reincarnation for those individuals. The bouy is sinking, social decay is becoming ruinous and unless it begins to rise to the surface the gods will get their way and life will end on Planet Earth.

The gods instructed Pharroh to give the Jews gold as temptation, and it worked. Their tactic should ring a bell.
So unlike Pharroh, but an effective corruptor which allowed the gods to justify 40 years of warmongering under Joshua. This caused another host of problems to befall the Jews as well.
The gods used them as "minor partners" with the Italians in the destruction of Planet Earth through "Western Civilization", leading us to where we are today.

Even as peasant farmers we could be lulled::Good weather, bountiful harvests, etc. This illustrates old-world preacher's effectiveness::::
This stereotypical preacher had classic preaching styles:::Loud, damnation-fueled teachings. Contrast to today, preachers who are lulling the Damned into "cruise control, the old-world style was important to snap people out of complacency. Unfortunately, in today's enviornment people consider this style insulting, and they lose a precious message designed for the favored of yesterday.

The Republicans were consistantly fingered for the corrupt trash they are and this time around the gods employed a sleazy, underhanded tactic:::timed the crisis so it would fall into the Democrat's lap with the bailout scandal. Republican donors/friends enjoyed enrichment at the expense of the taxpayer, as we saw with the S&L Scandal in the 80s, but this time they dodged the scorn associated and tried to unload it on the opposing party.
The real estate scandal was different. The disfavored who do what they are told greased the wheels of this crisis, been foreclosed on and evicted, and are left holding an empty bag labeled "immortality".
The gods played both sides of this event, and those to whom they sold the real estate scam in the 90s profiteered in the 2000s when the sub-prime machine flew into full gear during the peak of the market in 05-07. But we are all judged for our behavior, real or clone host, and despite perception of priveledge those who participated will suffer poetic justice, unless they have slipped into Damnation and are no longer eligible for punishment.
The gods position their theater like this for a reason::::This alienates the masses who flock to the party of evil liberalism while using the Republicans to prepare for god's will with governmental insolvency and the destruction of the true "evil empire", the ultimate punishment for the United States and the West.

The United States is a dumping ground for the disfavored. This was how it was used during European immigration, this is how it is used today.
The Japanese Earthquake/Tsunami of 3/11/11 was actually a good sign for the people. Alarming because it came decades after their most recent admitted atrocities during WWII, at least they experienced corrective punishment, whereas the United States won't be as lucky.
Russia too enjoyed corrective punishment for the 1980 invasion of Afghanistan.
There is something about Afghanistan. Interferring/injuring the Afghan people incurrs he god's wrath. It cost the SOviets their protection of communism. Because of it the gods have leveled the playing field among the last few white peoples who still enjoyed protection on their way to a homogeneous global enviornment.
Yes, the gods have been planning for this for decades and using clone host politicians to accomplish their goals. Ronald Reagan turned a $1 trillion Federal debt into $6 trillion at the end of his Administration. Much like W in Iraq, this served to terminate the favor of a group of people. Reagan just didn't have to do it with violence as W did, but he did do it against white people.
